Just as I was getting my coffee a couple minutes ago, I turn around and see my cat laying on my keyboard! What's up with that lol. I've always thought that was just a weird movie thing until I got these two kittens back in late April, they love PCs. Weather it's laying on my laptop's keyboard or jumping on my desk and walking behind my desktop to feel the air from the fans. I really got no idea why, maybe the warm air feels good, but that still wouldn't explain the whole keyboard thing. This is definitely a thing to ask Google (or actually DuckDuck Go)!

Back at it again with the morning entries while sipping down coffee. I go back to school in 8 days and I think I'm still in denial lol. I cannot believe that summer went came and left so quick! Feels like I just got out 2 weeks ago or so.. I'll still try and update this blog as much as I can because it really isn't difficult or time consuming at all, however I really need to get back to updating the site in general since I have been majorly slacking on it. Maybe I'll do something cool today.

Sorry for keeping it so short yesterday, I was tired and needed some time to rest and get back into my "flow." About to head down to Houston and stay with my uncle for the night so we don't have to drive all the way down to Galveston tomorrow. Only getting more and more excited for the cruise. I'm bringing my laptop with me but won't be able to update the site once I'm aboard because I won't have any wifi but I'm going to still write in a journal and then update the site with all my logs when I'm back home!

Choir All-State Camp is finally over(ish) but I still have a performance tonight. However, I'm going on a cruise this weekend for a week! So that'll be pretty fun but probably no website updates until I'm back. :(

Started my school's "Choir All-State Camp" today. It goes until Thursday and I decided to sign up (even though I never make it past region) cause why not? Today we just went over the basics and looked over our music. Music isn't that hard besides this French one, and it's only because of that factor LOL.

I'm starting a new Fallout New Vegas playthrough today! Haven't played it in a little bit so I'm excited. I also have my sister's birthday party today at a bowling alley. I suck at bowling LOL.

I have 4 iPods laying about and I've grown a keen interest in restoring and using one! After some thinking, I probably going with the iPod Classic (6th Gen) with a new a battery and a flash-mod. After doing the math to add up the parts and tools, I'm at... $67.55 plus tax and shipping, sheesh... Welp, still cheaper than buying a restored one off of eBay!

It is now almost 2:00am and after FOUR HOURS and nineteen minutes of updating we only have 5 updates left to go. Yay, I might get to bed before the sun rises! After it's done, I'm just gonna shut it off because unlike most other "tech enthusiaists," I usually enjoy waking up at a reasonable time LOL! Goodnight!

CMOS BATTERY UPDATE: I didn't even need to order any batteries! I had ONE left! Now we got a fresh battery in the Windows 7 desktop. I'm installing all of the 160 updates it's missed out on since 2013 via Legacy Updater LOL.

I dusted off my Papa's old desktop PC from circa 2009 (that's what the motherboard BIOS says anyways). Everything seems to be in working order besides the fact that the CMOS battery is dead as a doornail LOL. Definitely gonna replace that cause I like my PC's to keep time! We'll see how long that takes me haha, gotta figure out what battery it is and order it, changing it won't be the difficult part.

My parents bought some new cinnamon coffee creamer that they think is disgusting and of course I gotta be the only one that actually thinks it's alright. Sure it has sort of an "odd" after taste.. But it isn't even that bad! I'm drinking it right as I'm typing this LOL.

I've decided to add the time to these entries aswell because I might be adding more than one a day! Anyways I found my old iPod Classic Video and iPod Shuffle Gen 4, the classic is pretty beat up with a cracked front panel, poor battery, and slow hdd. I have another 6th Gen iPod Classic with a dead hdd so I might fix both of them up. The only down side being that to buy all my repair parts for both of them would be well over $160... Welp maybe I'll fix them another time lol!
