I've only really gotten into them within these past couple of months but I think they're pretty metal (lol). It's another case of seperating the art from the artist as I don't necessaraly agree with Phil on most things, however his voice is still undoubtedly amazing. Dimebag Darrell is also probably the greatest guitarist of the 20th century in my opinion! I don't know too much about the rest of the band but the bass and drums kick ass most of the time.
